Meet the teacher

¡Hola! I am Nadia, a seasoned teacher with a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics (University of Guadalajara), a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (Autonomous University of Queretaro), and a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (UNAM). I have over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish to students with diverse backgrounds and levels. I am from Mexico, but I am currently living in the United States.

My passion for teaching began at an early age when I was a little girl role-playing as a teacher in front of my dolls.

As an undergraduate, I first interacted with non-native Spanish speakers who were studying abroad in Mexico for a semester. They were struggling to learn the language. Soon, I discovered that I had a natural ability to explain complex language concepts in a way that was easy to understand. It was when I realized I wanted to become a Spanish teacher.

I have worked at several language schools, high schools, and colleges in Mexico and in the United States. It has been a long journey of enjoying teaching Spanish and meeting amazing people from all over the world.

I genuinely believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and practical. My teaching approach focuses on real-world communication skills while building a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary. I tailor each lesson to my students' interests, goals, and learning styles, making the process both effective and engaging.
